Hawthbush Farm Wedding

If you’d love a laid back, super child friendly festival style wedding, then you’ll love this one..

Ruth and Tom got married at Hawthbush farm back in July, it was such an awesome, chilled out and relaxed festival style wedding with some of the most amazing unique and individually chosen bride and bridesmaid dresses I have ever seen.

If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue that can be used for an entire weekend, with onsite camping and accomodation, in the form of safari tents, huts, cottages and empty fields for DIY camping, then Hawthbush farm will be right up your street.

On arriving at Hawthbush on the morning of the wedding, Ruth, Tom and many of their friends and family were in the main barn, the Wonky barn, helping to set up for the celebrations, putting flowers together, supplied by the fabulous Sussex cutting garden and making it looking darn right awesome.

Ruth and Tom’s ceremony was held in the most gorgeous area of woodland clearing and super personal. Which I love. The ceremony ended with the perfect guest group rendition of Blackbird by the Beatles.

The reception started with all the guests leaving in convoy for the walk back over the fields to The Wonky barn, where a confetti line outside the barn was set to welcome the new Mr and Mrs. With drinks for the adults and a games area for the kids, all the guests had a great time before being called in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches were a grown up only affair too, with the kids being entertained and having great time at the kids disco with the Kats Whiskers

With the meal finished, speeches done and cake cut it was then time for the awesome band the Cash Cows to take to the helm and get the party started with some fantastic live music.
