The George In Rye Wedding

Ever since I was a guest at a wedding at The George in Rye, several years ago, I have always wanted to capture a wedding there. So when Jodie and Joseph got in touch I leapt at the chance to be able to do just so. Situated in the heart of Medieval Rye town, the 16th century coaching inn, beautifully renovated into the most stunning quaint English, luxurious retreat for a little holiday or of course a fabulous wedding.

I absolutely adored Jodie and Jospeh, totally smitten with each other and an absolute  joy to photograph. Making my day super easy and enjoyable in every way. Having chosen to have an small intimate wedding at The George in Rye Jodie and Jospeh were able to make good use of my micro intimate wedding photography option choosing to have me along for 3 hours to capture their ceremony, family and friend portraits and a few photo’s with just the two of them  around the gorgeous town of Rye, of course making sure we stopped at the stunning and iconic Mermaid street.

Jodie and Josephs wedding was full of colour, asking all of their guests to wear black tie for the boys and a mix of bright pinks and oranges for the girls. Such a fabulous idea and wow do these colours pop in the photographs especially in the outdoor leafy courtyard area where they said their I do’s.

If you’re looking to have a small intimate wedding and looking for an experienced wedding photographer in Sussex who offers bespoke hourly wedding coverage, then do get in touch. I would love to hear all about your plans.
