A summer Long furlong Barn Wedding
Sarah and James, one of the loveliest sweetest couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. Their wedding at Long Furlong barn in August 2019 was just a dream, lovely couple, fantastic, super friendly family and guests and a venue in incredible beautiful surroundings. What more could I ask for.
I spent the whole day with Sarah and James at Long furlong barn. From bridal prep in the morning, all the way through to their first dance. Every part of their day was perfect, the ceremony in the Cartshed, with tears of joy and tears of laughter. The reception drinks on the lawns for the guests, surrounded by the beauty of the South Downs national park. Then on to the wedding breakfast in the Granary barn, with its high vaulted ceiling, which was decorated beautifully with high hanging lanterns in white and pale green and baby pink.
With almost clear blue skies for the entire day it was just perfect and so lovely to be able to get out with Sarah and James after the wedding breakfast for some photographs during the golden hour at 8pm. Always a time I enjoy when there is nothing for the couple to rush back for.
Thanks for having me share your day with you Sarah and James. Congratulations on becoming Mr and Mrs!!
I have been capturing weddings throughout Sussex for the last 20 years. To me, capturing the real story of a wedding isn't about just showing up and clicking constantly; it’s about waiting, watching, and knowing exactly when those true, documentary, unposed moments are about to happen.
What an absolutely spectacular day we had celebrating Bethany and Marcus! Held at the utterly gorgeous Great Fosters in Egham, Surrey, near the glorious Windsor Park, this wedding was just pure class and fun from beginning to end.
I absolutely adored Jodie and Jospeh, totally smitten with each other and an absolute joy to photograph. Making my day super easy and enjoyable in every way. Having chosen to have an small intimate wedding at The George in Rye Jodie and Jospeh were able to make good use of my micro intimate wedding photography
The Gallivant is situated right on the main road adjacent to the beach in Camber Sands, East Sussex, with stunning decor, gardens and an overall vibe of sophisticated, modern, seaside chill.
If you’re like me and you love a good festival, be it for the music, the drink, the food or just the general vibes a festival brings, or all of it in my case, then like me, this might be the perfect style of wedding for you.
The Ravenswood has a unique charm that's hard to resist. It blends historical elegance (dating all the way back to 1426!) with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, making it perfect for couples who want a touch of grandeur without feeling stuffy.
Amy and Harry’s Buckhurst Park wedding was truly unforgettable. The most amazing, beautiful couple that held the most stunning wedding at the gorgeous Buckhurst Park with the most wonderful friends and family to share their day.
Whatever you choose to call it, be it an intimate wedding, elopement, or a micro wedding, smaller weddings are becoming more popular and I absolutely love them. You may be looking at having a smaller wedding to keep costs down or it may be that you just don’t want all the fuss and attention that can come with having a larger wedding.
I absolutely adore Firle Place, such a perfect blend of elegant, romantic, English charm but with the added touch of rustic modern in the converted riding stables. Pretty much the epitome of wedding venues in Sussex.
Is there a more perfect wedding venue in Sussex? Balcombe place has everything, beauty, sophistication, romance, history, scenery and above all
