WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY // YOGHURT ROOMS
If I could get married again, (which my husband probably wouldn’t allow!!) then this is most definately the style of wedding I would love. Great venue, rustic, with awesome views, fantastic live bands, not 1 but 2!! Beautiful boho dress, self designed by the bride and put together by dressmaker Joanne Flemming, camping fields for the guests to pitch up and stay overnight, a lake, yurts, pinata instead of wedding cake, flip flops and raybans for all the guests, cocktails and oh so much more!! Heather and Adam held their somewhat of a wedfest (wedding festival) wedding at the fantastic Yoghurt rooms in East Grinstead, Sussex. A 300 acre working organic farm set in the beautiful Sussex countryside, with an abdundance of space and a newly built beautifully stunning barn, this venue is a complete blank canvas to do pretty much what you like with. With a gorgeous ready made camping field, with camp fire area and 2 stunning yurts, 1 set aside for the Bride and Groom of course for their first night as a married couple. I really cannot rate this venue and the fantastic family that run it higher, just brilliant!
Heather and Adam had opted for a gorgeous, outdoor ceremony, situated in the middle of a large field with far reaching views across the Sussex countryside. With the chairs beautifully dressed with taffeta, tied with a ribbon and vintage brooch and 2 gorgeous Balinese Umbrellas, all supplied and dressed by the fantastic Avensys Wedding and Venue decoration.
At the end of the ceremony, the first of Heather and Adams bands, the fantastic M&G (Micky and Grace) sung Pharell Williams “Happy”, to which the newly wed couple and their guests danced their way out of the field to. They then continued to play one of the best, day time Wedding Sets i have heard. Such a lovely couple, with infectious personalities. (They also supply sunscreen to disorganised photographers burning in the scorching sun!! Thanks Micky!!)
Following a few gently directed shots of the Bride and groom and their guests it was time to head into the Wedding Barn. Again beautifully dressed by team Avensys with Dove Grey and lace hanging lanterns, all with LED’s to light up during the evening celebrations.
With all the speeches and the formalities complete it was time…time for that giant heart shaped pinata to be smashed open, much more fun the the traditional cake cutting!! and for me, a joy to capture!!
With all that done, the second band of the night The Daggers sang and played, while the guests drank and danced the night away.. For me, I could hang up my camera and enjoy the remainder of the evening as a guest!!
Thank you so much Heather and Adam for letting me share your day, it was awesome!! Congratulations!!
