Lucy and James Four Oaks Farm Wedding

Lucy and James held their wedding on a gorgeously hot summer's day in July 2019.

I started my day at Lucy and James family home where Lucy was getting ready with her girls. As Lucy didn't want too many getting ready shots it wasn't long before I was heading to Four Oaks farm to meet with the guys to capture the final setting up preparations for the day.

On hand for the entire day was the wonderful Sarah from Wildflower Tipi events, who as well as supplying the gorgeous giant hat tipi tent for the day was also managing that the day ran smoothly.

With Lucy and James being keen skiers, the day and theme very much incorporated this, with a ceremony archway and directional signposts made from skis and even ski boots filled with flowers. Such a great idea and it looked fantastic.

“The photos are brilliant! Thank you for being so chilled and fitting into the day. We never felt pressured and really were able to enjoy the day!”

With clear blue skies and scorching weather everyone took their places on the hay bales ready for the outside ceremony and the arrival of Lucy, her dad and the girls.

James waited anxiously at the front with his ring bearer four legged friend Tesh, by his side. The humanist ceremony, conducted by a close friend of Lucy and James was just perfect and finished with a confetti line walk down the aisle.

All the guests enjoyed the perfect reception, with sack races, a coconut shy stand, cool summer drinks and food served by awesome Garlic wood events.

Following the speeches and wedding breakfast the fun outside resumed, with more sack races and garden games. I absolutely love weddings where there is an endless amount of fun and laughter to capture.

Fun, laughter, live music, sunshine, chilled out vibes, great food and fantastic company. All in all a superb wedding. I loved every minute!

Thank you so much to Lucy and James for having me share your day with.
