WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY // SEATTLE HOTEL // BRIGHTON
Everytime I photograph a Wedding I go away thinking “that was fantastic, nothing will beat that Wedding” and then this one came along! Everything about Carly and Ashley’s Wedding was fantastic, so many wonderful little details that went into making this wedding truly beautiful, romantic, sophisticated and down right wonderful.
From Carly’s stunning bridal gown purchased from Equisite You in Seaford, to the elegant bridesmaids dresses and of course the Groom and Best Man in Military uniform. Carly herself created so many of the details that went into the wedding, making the table centrepieces herself by filling Goldfish bowls with hundreds of yellow gel beads with a Lily placed gently on the top to create an elegant, dazzling centrepiece that glowed into the evening. The fantastic Reveries Events supplied a gorgeous backdrop filled with thousands of LED lights to sit behind top table and make the room glow, with chair covers and table swagging adding the final touch to this graceful, stylish room.
Carly and Ashley’s Wedding Ceremony took place at the beautiful St Wulfrans Church in Ovingdean, a beautiful 11th century Church nestled on the edge of the South Downs, from their the Guests made their way in a vintage 1965 Maroon and cream Routemaster bus to the Reception venue of the Seattle Hotel at Brighton Marina for a fantastic Wedding Breakfast and Evening reception.
Carly and Ashley had decided that they wanted to keep their Wedding photography very natural, which allowed me to shoot throughout the day in a reportage manor, capturing many of the guests, relaxing, drinking and enjoying the beautiful surroundings that the Hotel Seattle and the Brighton Marina brings. With only 5 minutes spent capturing some relaxed portrait shots of the newly married couple on the balcony of the hotel. Fantastic!
Thank you so much to Carly and Ashley for letting me share your special day with you and thank you so much for looking after me so well throughout the day. I wish you all the happiness and best wishes for your new venture together in Cyprus. I hope you enjoy looking through these images as much as I enjoyed taking them! (cheesy I know!)
Here I few of my favourites from the day, you can see more from this wonderful wedding as a featured sample wedding in my galleries page....
