Lauren + Jacks Hendall Manor Barns Wedding
Lauren and jacks hendall manor barns sussex wedding was an absolute pleasure to be a part of last summer. I regularly shoot weddings at Hendall Manor Barns so am always thrilled to be asked back. I met with Lauren in the morning at the barns where she and her mum were getting ready. It was such a lovely peaceful morning with just the 2 of them and really lovely to see what a beautiful relationship they have as mother and daughter. With Lauren being a few months pregnant and wanting nothing more than a intimate wedding morning with lots of chocolate! I am not sure she stopped eating chocolate for the entire morning!
We then headed to St Swithuns Church in East Grinstead where she was to marry her man, Jack. It was a beautiful service and everyone joined the couple outside afterwards for a confetti line up at the kissing gate, which of course I could not miss the opportunity to capture a kissing shot at.
I was also super excited to see them head of in their alternative wedding car, a classic stretch mini. I was thrilled when I heard they had chosen this as their wedding car because I also had the same at my own wedding, nearly 10 years ago and have never seen one since!
On arrival at the barns the skies were turning quite dramatic, with clear blue skies on one side and thunderous rain clouds on the other, knowing rain was imminent I hurried Jack and Lauren for a few bride and groom shots in the beautifully manicured gardens. As predicted it wasn't long before the rain started and in between shots we all took shelter with the fabulous Nicola on hand to whisk Lauren back to the barns underneath an umbrella.
With the group shots complete and the wedding breakfast divulged it was time for Lauren and Jack to change into their super comfy evening outfits!! With personalised sweaters just for the occasion.
