Danni and Gary's Upwaltham Barns winter wedding
Danni and Gary held their wedding at the wonderful Upwaltham Barns in December 2018. I love winter weddings and this was the first time I had the chance to capture a winter wedding at one of my favourite venues.
Upwaltham Barns is a fabulously gorgeous venue and one I have photographed at many times. Situated between Chichester and Petworth and found nestled in the hills of the South Downs national park, the scenery around this venue never disappoints.
With the most glorious natural soft winter light I knew I was in for a treat with this wedding. Danni and Gary are such a gorgeous couple and so so laid back the day was sure to follow suit.
I was with Danni and Gary for the full day, meeting with Danni at the barns at midday to capture the last hour or so of bridal prep. The gorgeous and talented Charlotte from Polka Dot hair and make up was with the girls for the morning also.

The ceremony was super lovely and a tad emotional, with Danni and Gary preparing and reading their own personal vows, always such a lovely moment.
Like the vast majority of couples I photograph, Danni and Gary were upfront about being shy in front of the camera, but both agreed that after spending a short amount of time with me walking around the venue, they both felt completely at ease and even enjoyed the experience!
I had so much fun capturing this wedding, the teams at both Upwaltham Barns and Nibbles 2 Nosh are always super welcoming and hospitable and an absolute pleasure to be around.
