2017 // Best Of Weddings // Sussex + Surrey
2017 was an absolute corker of year for weddings, with each and everyone being fabulous in their own way. I was back at some of my favourite venues in 2017, including Upwaltham Barn, Hendall Manor Barn and Long Furlong Barn as well as getting to see some awesome new venues, like the wonderful Four Oaks Farm in Hassocks, with a double wedding photography bucket list tick of a tipi wedding with men in kilts! Win win! This year also saw me photographing 3 fabulous village hall weddings, one at the outrageously awesome Iford Hall in Lewes as well as Burpham Village hall and Copsale Hall. Village hall weddings are a definite new love of mine.
My 2017 weddings have seen me smile (a lot), laugh and even brought tears to my eyes. (I’m a sucker for seeing people in love!) I have trudged through many a wet field for the perfect shot, spending entire days with wet feet, I have been covered in glitter in the name of gay pride and eaten some incredible food along the way. I have travelled in some interesting forms of transport, from top class Bentleys, to tractors and old army trucks. I have gone from extremes of being burnt at weddings to looking like a drowned rat, learning along the way about extra supplies I need to travel with!
2017 you rocked and thank you so much to all the incredible couples that let me share their day with them. Thank you also to all the fabulous venues and suppliers I worked with along the way, I look forward to seeing you again in 2018!
