Emma and Michaels Wedding took place at the wonderful Mid Sussex Golf Club in Ditchling. A venue they chose for it wonderful blank canvas to style as they wished, as well as it being well suited for all of their friends and family and of course not forgetting, those fabulous views across the South Downs. Having spent the morning at Emma’s house, with what has to be the most organised and calmest of bridal prep mornings I have ever photographed I headed to Golf Club to capture the arrival of Emma and Michaels guests. From having met Emma at the Golf Club nearly a year ago I was astonished to see how the room had been transformed into a beautiful space for their ceremony and evening reception. With the fantastic Avensys supplying the chair covers with a gorgeous silver and ivory lace sash, finished with a pale pink rose in each one and the stunning starlight backdrop to the dressed ceremony table. The room looked fantastic.
Even though for most of the day the dark skies looked as though rain could be imminent, it held off and enabled us to capture some lovely shots of both the Bride and Groom and family members, with the moody dark skies actually adding a lovely depth to the finished product.
With the room now transformed from ceremony to Wedding Breakfast, looking spectacular as ever, the speeches began, with a very comical rendition of fresh Prince of Bel air rapped by the two best men the room erupted with laughter. Brilliant!
With the room transformed again for the evening, Best Man and owner of Jump Entertainments got the party started and led the Bride and Groom to the dance floor for their first dance - always a favourite moment of mine.
Huge thanks to Emma and Michael for letting me share their day with them, an absolute honour as always. Congratulation Mr and Mrs Wyborn!!
