When Melanie and Andrew first approached me to photograph their Wedding at the Burford Bridge Hotel in Dorking, they had the idea that it would be a fantastic to travel up to the view point at the top of Boxhill National Park after the ceremony to take some scenic portrait shots. With the hotel found nestled at the very bottom of Boxhill in the North Downs I agreed it could be done and crossed my fingers for the next 6 months that the weather would be kind enough to us on the day. Luckily for us, the rain just about held off and we managed to do just that! phew!!
Melanie and Andrew’s day was fantastic, surrounded by their good friends and family. A lot of whom had been kind enough to help out with the plans. With Melanie’s dress being hand made by a friend and Andrew’s brother and sister-in-law who made their Wedding cake to Andrews cycling friends who brought along some bike wheels for the traditional Bike wheel archway to walk through after the ceremony. Something I had never seen or heard of before, but that worked really well.
