So, I set myself a new year wedding season resolution this year, which was to NOT fall behind with blogging the fabulous weddings I have the pleasure of capturing. Yet here I am in September having last blogged at the end of June! Yikes!!
So I am absolutely delighted to now be able to share this gorgeous Wotton House wedding, which I photographed at the beginning of July....
Steve and Phil's Wedding day was an absolute blast, with an amazing group of friends and family there to share it with them, half of which had flown in from Ireland for the big day. With both the guys getting ready at Wotton House alongside their groomsmen, grooms maids and parents, I was able to flit between hotel rooms to capture all of them getting ready, which was lovely.
With a beautiful hot sunny day ahead the guys were able to hold their ceremony outside under the roman temple. Set among spectacular Grade 2 listed Italian gardens, i'm not sure if there is a more picturesque place to get married.
Steve and Phil were both given away and walked down the aisle together by their mums, which was a beautiful moment to capture and a first for me.
The guys looked fab, dressed in matching bright blue suits, with complimenting blue and yellow ties. They had used a unique idea of using lemons to decorate both the chairs for outside and inside, with then using lemons to fill tall vases on the tables within the wedding breakfast room.
Both Phil and Steve had a groomsmaid and groomsmen each for the day, with their sisters filling the role of groomsmaid and brother and friend filling the role of groomsmen, who both did a fabulously hilarious job during the speeches. I do love a GOOD best mans speech.
It was truly lovely to be able to be a part of Steve and Phil's Wedding Day. I was made to feel so so welcome and had a great time photographing and capturing their day.
