Lilly and Paul held their wedding at the beautiful Stanmer House in Brighton. Nestled in the South Downs and surrounded by stunning parkland, Stanmer House is a gorgeous location for a Wedding.
Since my last wedding at Stanmer house they have updated and moved their marquee, which is now much larger and lighter and a beautiful and much improved space for a wedding reception. Opening up onto the gardens the new marquee is a great way for guests to enjoy a lovely summers evening.
I joined Lilly, her mum and her bridesmaids in the morning of the wedding to capture a few getting ready shots. The bridesmaids all chose their own individual dresses with the only criteria being that they were all of a dusky pink. Such a great idea and I loved seeing the mix match of dresses and individual styles with varying tones of the same colour all looking fab together.
Lilly’s dress was a gorgeous champagne colour with lace overlay and she looked absolutely stunning. With the boys looking pretty dapper too in my favourite combo of blue suits and tan shoes, matching in with the girls by wearing dusky pink ties.
The whole day was fabulous and I just loved how Lilly spent the whole day giggling with joy, one of my favourite things to capture on a wedding day is laughter so this wedding was an absolute delight!
Here are a few of my favourites from the day…
