Oh Ella and James, How i do love you guys, such a fantastic couple that created an even more fantastic Wedding day. The love this couple has for each other just shone through all day, creating endless amounts of great "moments" for me to photograph. Something as a natural, reportage photographer makes my job incredible.
I was expecting Ella and James's Wedding to be a rather wet one, with almost the entire week leading up to it being non stop rain.
Fortunately on this day the weather couldn't have been any more perfect. Cloudy skies with beautiful sunny intervals, creating a beautiful autumnal light, with only the heavens opening once all the guests were seated for dinner.
It had felt like an age since first meeting Ella and James at stammer park over a year ago to discuss the plans for their special day, but here we are now celebrating. With a gorgeous ceremony held at the stunning St Johns Church in, Knowle road, Brighton then on to the fantastic Stammer House for their evening reception. On first meeting, Ella had asked if we could stop off at the Rockery gardens in Preston park, where James had proposed, and we managed to do just that and although the rocky paths were too slipery to get to "their" bench we did get some lovely shots, with stunning autumnal colours showing off Ellas stunning peach/Orange bridal bouquet and of course, not forgetting "those shoes" LOVE!!
With a beautiful vintage theme, peach and cream flowers and Ella in a stunning lace overlay wedding gown. So much of the day being contributed to by friends and family, including the stunning flowers and gorgeous wedding cake, everything was just perfect.
A truly fantastic day, with truly fantastic people. Congratulations Ella and James, I wish you all the best for your future together. Xx
