My penultimate wedding of the season saw me at the fantastic Hendall Manor Barns where I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Anna and Chris's wedding on the 18th October this year. I cannot rate Hendall Manor Barns any higher, whilst still being new in the world of Weddings, only having opened their doors in late 2011, the Barns offer a scrumptious venue for any wedding. Set in glorious scenery with the old historic stone barn having been lovingly renovated to an extremely high standard, with a gorgeous south facing terrace for the guests to enjoy the sunshine (even in late October!) and all that the barn has to offer. Nicola couldn't have been any more hospitable too, to both myself and the Wedding party. Thank you so much! A venue I would most definitely adore to photograph at again.
Anna and Chris held such a gorgeous ceremony in the Barn, with Chris’s brother playing acoustic guitar during the signing of the register followed by Anna and Chris making a fantastic exit with beaming smiles of joy, whilst throwing their arms up in the air. These are the kind of moments I adore capturing as a natural reportage photographer. Exiting with their guests behind they were able to make use of the stunning garden terrace area in unusually warm autumnal weather for a wonderful drinks and canape reception.
I love photographing weddings in October, especially sunny days like this one! The light is just phenomenal, creating soft warm tones without the harshness that the summer sun can often create.
The fantastic Secret restaurant Provided the food for the day, of which all I can say is yum! Great work guys!! A fantastic Chicken and Chorizo Pie and Mash and extremely yummy Bakewell tart!
The evening was taken care of in the Barn by the fantastic Brad from Disco fever, who I have to admit had the most fantastic lighting set-up of any dj I have met! And such a lovely guy!
A great Wedding to end my main Wedding season of 2014! Thank you so much to the new Mr and Mrs Rose - You guys totally rock!!
